Ghost Hunting At St. Catherine's Hall, Doncaster, 14th May 2016

On the 14th May 2016 Simply Ghost Nights embarked on a ghost hunting event at St. Catherine's Hall  this former asylum, school, hospital wards for infectious diseases, psychiatric hospital, mental institution and prior to that it was a private residence to the Banks family. St. Catherine's as had a chequered past to say the least and can be one of the most active locations when the spirits come out to communicate, however would the spirits come out to play or not?

Cassie and Sue spoke of a vigil in the attic where a number of guests attempted spirit communication in different areas of the attic, some guests made spirit contact with a male spirit who spoke of how he worked there for the Bank's family and that he had worked in service and had enjoyed his time at the house.

Stuart and Jez spoke of a vigil in the Welcome room where the group made conversation with a nurse who had worked at the The Hall when it had been an asylum, the nurses name was Joyce and Joyce answered many questions via Yes and No. Also in this vigil a REM pod would alarm out on request as well.

Hannah and Martin mentioned that during a vigil in the cellars a group of ghost hunters experienced at first hand a human pendulum and with a number of guests swaying to the same answers almost in unison. The group ascertained that they were speaking to a gentleman spirit who had worked at the hall when it had been a hospital and he had been part of the maintenance team.

Sarah and Morgan detailed a Spirit box session within a vigil in the Red room where most of the guests heard their names repeated back and the word Doncaster when asked 'where are we'.

In a vigil in the Kitchen Rosey and Lesley noted that in this vigil a group of guests experienced some excellent table tipping and tapping on the table and the K2 was spiking on request as well.

With all team leaders noting table, glass, K2 spikes and communication via the Spirit Box it was indeed another activity night at St. Catherine's Hall.
