Ghost Hunting At St. Catherine's Hall, Doncaster, 2nd April 2016

Simpy Ghost Nights returned to St. Catherine's former hospital in Doncaster on the 2nd April, the hospital as a colorful past to say the least. The hospital  consisted of two children's wards, where infectious diseases were treated, a psychiatric unit, female chest unit and sanatorium, and male sanatorium, which was located slightly away from the other wards.
With this in mind and our recent investigations at St. Catherine's providing some amazing occurrences of paranormal activity it was time to attempt spirit communication.
The night began with a short group vigil in the red room where we had a few spikes on the K2 and a few guests feeling as though their coats had been tugged. We then decided to break off and split into smaller groups.
Cassie and Sue spoke of a Ouija board experiment in the kitchen area and where they made spirit communication with a female spirit called Agnes who claimed to have worked at the house when it was owned by the Banks family. Cassie went on further to describe how later on in the vigil Agnes made some fantastic tapping on the table when asked by the guests.

Stuart and Jez mentioned a vigil in the Cellars where a group of ghost hunters went off to investigate a side room in the cellars, Stuart left them with a K2 and night vision goggles. After about five minutes all four of the guests came back to the main Cellar area claiming that the K2 had spiked on request and that they had heard the voice of a young female/girl near them and that it had freaked them out.

Lisa and Sarah told of how in the Red room a group of ghost hunters were astounded that a K2 meter and REM pod were alarming out on request and many of the guests complained of cold breezes on their hands and some even said that they felt as though their heads were in a spiders web.
Hannah and Martin detailed how a table tipping session in the cellar where the table slid between all the ghost hunters in turn and also tipped on to two legs with each participant only having two finger son the table.

Rosey and Lesley did speak of a vigil in the Purple room where via the Ouija board the group made ghostly contact with a male spirit called Alex, who stated that he had being a patient at St. Catherine's and had lived with his wife and family and that he had worked down the pit before getting ill

Many of the groups recorded excellent results with the K2's, REM pods and Jez mentioned one guest thought they heard children giggling in the attic via the sound enhances.

All in all it was a great night of spirit interaction.
