This fine stone-built holiday home is in the heart of the Belper Conservation area, near the old village of mill-workers' houses known locally as The Clusters. The Chapel, a Grade II listed building, dates from 1817, and is close to the town centre of Belper, a market town on the doorstep of the Derbyshire Peak District National Park.

The town offers many handy shops, including some that are glad to deliver to you, a wealth of real ale and family style pubs, live music and disco-bars, and an excellent range of restaurants.

The Old Chapel is one of those rare properties that can accommodate with ease the really large party seeking a well-equipped, comfortable and good value holiday base for that family holiday or special gathering! There's a huge 40ft galleried and beamed lounge (18ft ceiling), a wealth of bathrooms and some en-suite facilities, extra ground floor sitting room, easy to spread out and the fully-fitted kitchen includes a range oven.  Please note that one of the bedrooms on the gallery has a roomy single bed with a 4ft bed.

The secluded private and enclosed garden has a brick barbecue and two picnic tables for summer use, and there is private parking for up to 4 vehicles just to the rear of the Chapel, which is reached via Bridge Street and Cluster Road, with a short stroll back to The Old Chapel access via Crown Terrace.  There are other nearby short-stay and long-stay car parks.

The landlord of The Devonshire pub welcomes parking towards the REAR of the (Duke of) Devonshire’s car park and he requests a small donation be made to him for each car. This car park is almost opposite ‘Baptist Chapel Yard, which is the alleyway entrance to The Old Chapel (between the Rifleman’s Arms pub and ‘The Taj of Belper’ take-away.
