Eden Camp
Eden Camp, North Yorkshire was constructed in 1942. The plan was to build a complex with a Barb wired enclosure and erect tents to house a steady constant flow of enemy prisoners of war captured by the Allies in North Africa.
The first inmates were Italian who were put to work constructing and even bigger camp consisting of 45 huts over some 8 Acres.
The site soon became known as POW Camp 83 but AKA Eden Camp, and it housed some 1,200 prisoners at any one time and eventually housed both Italian and German prisoners of war. Prisoners were kept here until 1948 three years after D Day before the last prisoners were repatriated.
Then in 1986 the land was purchased with the intention of using it as a crisp factory, but after three previous inmates had made a visit to see the camp the new owner decided that it would be put to much better use by recreating the camp back to how it was and create the museum it is today.

Your ghost night commences with a brief chat about what you may experience as a ghost hunter on the night and how to use all our ghost hunting equipment whether you are using the spiritual or scientific the equipment, you are free to use any of the ghost hunting equipment as you attempt to interact with the spirit world.
On your ghost hunting night and paranormal investigation we do not waste your time or money talking about ourselves on a ghost hunt or taking you on a tour of the building to pass time. What we do is utilise every minute possible into providing our guests with an amazing most haunted experience, at a most haunted venue or location in the U.K, after all it is simply your ghost night.
